Wow, I am still digging in old boxed bottles from storage garage. Robert Birch Beer used to be one of my favorites. I have a bottle here being listed in my system update. Through all these years of collecting - I never tracked down each bottles history. We didn't have this many helpers. I have a clear glass one here on my desk right now, that I dug several years ago. It is about 7-3/8" high and has a clowdy system of having been in dirt. It was made in a two part mold, and has a neat domed punty rod pontil mark in the pushed up bottom. It is embossed with a curved "/ MINERAL WATER " over a central "/ BY " over "/ HASSINGER & OBRIEN " over "/17&0 OF'ALON STS, with the ts raised and under lined. and under that is "/ ST LOUIS " In this the T was small with an underline. Also- I think the & sign was a mold makers mistake and should have been cut as the number 8. The finish is a straight taper applied glass tooled with a radius on the top and the bottom. It is a neat one. RED Matthews
