Anyone have any info on this one? I picked it up in an antique shop for a couple bucks. It reminds me of the straight sided cokes with the arrows as it has arrows around the neck of the bottle. The name on this one is "Ja-Moka" from Birmingham, Alabama. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Bryan,

I sure didn't find much in googleville. Does it have an arrow through the logo? I think Jerry/wonkapete may have one.

Yes, I thought it was some imitation coca-cola also. Then I got to thinking maybe it was some type of coffee flavored drink?

It does have an arrow through the logo as well as around the neck. I wasn't able to find much on google either!

Yep, I have three different Ja-Mokas. Couple bucks is a good deal. They usually go anywhere from $15-$30, depending on type and condition. Here's what Dennis told me about the company:

Former Assistant State Chemist Rinaldo Williams sold Ja-Moka for five years starting in 1915. Operating first as Atlas Bottling Company, Williams’ firm became the Ja-Moka Company in 1916. Williams was president, J. DeB. Hooper was vice-president, and John W. Williams was secretary. The plant was at 508 North 26th Street. The company also sold Blue Ridge Ginger Ale.
There are at least four different Ja-Moka bottles: two have arrows on them. All are hard to come by.

Hope this helps.

What other Alabama bottles you have? I have a bunch.
