I dive and snorkel for bottles quite bit, but I never have luck in ponds or lakes. Have better luck with rivers and ocean dock areas.

Is visibility reduced after rain? I'm a little worried about encountering a catfish or beaver in the river here, but I'd like to try it, during this drought (it did rain a little last night).

Contractor Blames Beavers For Harrisburg Water Fiasco

Water Main Break Disrupted City's Water Service For Days

On Monday, the New-York-based excavation company United Demolition hit a water line in downtown Harrisburg. The damage shut down the Capitol, sending workers home for days. Nearby businesses were impacted, schools closed and the entire city was put under a boil-water order for more than three days. For awhile, the ruptured line was gushing out 1 million gallons a day.

News 8 called the company on Friday to talk about the mess. The company blamed beavers for the water woes, saying the animals chewed the pipes.
