Anyone ever use zillow.com?

A guy in my treasure club told me about it tonight. It's a real estate site that shows approximate values of properties... Just plug in any address. The cool part, though, is it tells you the YEAR the house was built. Sounds useful!

Have you tryed it out yet Kate? I got hung up on zooming on a map, but to be fair I haven't had time to mess around w/ it a whole lot...[]

It works great for around here! I was playing with it a lot last night. It shows you the street address, too.

Ive used it before. It is a pretty useful site since you can drag from street to street. I have also found the years of constuction to be fairly accurate.

It says my house was built in 1950, but it was built in 1929.

Was there an addition added in 1950? I've found it to be pretty accurate. It's great if you're looking for a house, too!

Nice to have the street addresses, too.

I just showed this to a friend at work who's house was built in 1805... her house states age 1870... she did say this is when the last addition was built. She said there were at least 3 additions over the years.

That makes sense, then. There might have been an addition. Couldn't have been a very big one, but I'll check on that. A house from 1805? Are you going to dig there???
