I am looking for info on the rarity/desirability of these two sodas. The first is a cod, and the other is a killer blob.

blob embossed: "Fountain Mineral and Soda Works / Honolul H. I. / R.R."

Has bit of damage, but the embossing is killer.

Hey Brad,

I think that "Fountain Mineral & Soda Works" is pretty desirable. I'd like to see more photos of it, if you're so inclined, please.

This one sold for $400 in November, with 17 bids.

I like that Codd, too.

Tony / rockbot has the Hawaiian Bottles of Long Ago book, and will be able to tell you more.

I have a desire for the Codd bottle as well as other American Codd bottles. Is the example you posted for sale?

Whoever carved this mold was quite talented. They both belong to one of the bigger Texas collectors, and I am just doing some research for him. IF they come up for sale I will let you know. Thanks for the help guys!

The consolidated codd with no damage can go anywhere from $300.00 to $800.00. The key factor is the embossing. A strongly embossed specimen will sell well.
Unfortunately most have weak embossing. They usually are sick and hazy and tumbling is not recommended due to the weak lettering.

The Fountain with out damage can go for $400.00. Unfortunately most have fisheyes so that is how you find them. Yours would do maybe $150.00

The one Surf posted is the longer neck variant and is much rarer. A top grade example can go $1000.00

I hope this helps.
