The historic period has been well documented

One thing that the study of archeology teaches is that the written historic record is biased... This leaves us with the archeological record which must then be recovered and analized in as unbiased a manner as possible... There's the challenge!

now that bottles are commanding big money archaeologists would rather go for the glory and dig these sites as opposed to the MUCH MORE IMPORTANT pre historic sites.

Talk about trash...

Can you imagine how the world would have to stop to wait for propper authority because you found a square nail when you expanded your garden? GIVE ME A BREAK!
