Apothecary Jar

Here is an apothecary jar with label under glass. Label reads Mag: Calc:, I assume it means Magnesium Calcium? Base reads Y C Co. Not sure if it has the original stopper? Any info about its age & value would help.

The stopper is cracked on the bottom. I'm not sure if it is a mold scar or not.

The base reads Y C Co. I have never heard of this maker's mark, would be glad if someone could tell me about it! Y C Co is in a hexagon shape with a line cutting through the middle between Y C & Co.

The seam is only between the neck & the label on both sides. The lip looks rolled to me.

The jar measures 8 1/2" from base to lip.

That may not be the correct stopper. They usually have a different style.

Could the vertical line between Y & C be a letter? I find no YC on the bottle makers reference site.

The letter could be an L but most likely a T.
