Found this in an old farm in S.E. Saskatchewan, Canada. I'm told it might an apothecary bottle but would like to know for sure. The bottle is 6 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" across the bottom. It has an indented ledge on the top similar to the old milk bottles. It has 10 sides. Also believe it was made around 1900 and wondering what it might it might be worth. Any and all help is much appreciated.

Another pic of bottle. Forgot to mention that it has a 5 in a circle on the bottom.

Hey Reid. Jim Sinsley from ICON here. Welcome to the bottle group.

The guys are correct, it is a food product bottle as they have said. It is worth only a few bucks due to the lack of embossing. Ask any questions you have, these guys are great with their knowledge and willingness to answer questions. they are almost or maybe more fun than the INSULATOR group.

Take care and be well.

Hey, good to hear from you, Jim. You meet the nicest people in the glass hobbies. Thanks, for the info guys. I guess it's probably not worth getting tumbled. Have a look at this one, CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILROAD pint milk bottle. Comments welcomed.

Wow, that's one purrrple bottle! I noticed a hint of sun-colored amethyst in the pickle jar, but this one is almost suspiciously deep in color.. is this the way you found it, Reid?
