There is a, "working, rustic, frontier fort" near my house. I know they have an "authentic" smithy. I'm not sure if they do "authentic" period style bottles. These bottles seem, to me, like they can't be too old due to their great condition. They have pontil marks and the cones going up into the body of the bottle. They have seams up the side that end around the lip. They have lots of bubbles and imperfections in the glass. No stains or pearly film. I know the photo doesn't have much detail, but any info would be great.

Hi Paul, and welcome to the forum!
At first glance, I would say they are old. Are the bases really pontiled, or kicked up?
The color on the bottle to the right is great and I've seen, and have several, that are rather old, say 1870s or around there.

As long as bottle arent buried they wont oxydize or deteriorate in any other way. A bottle can sit in an attic for 200 years and look as new as the day it was made once the dust is washed off. You have to date bottles based on style, manf technique, and other factors.

This is an example of what you say: one left was found under sea and the other was in a basement.
I think these are common pickles (not sure)
