Ball Ideal--How Old is it?

I have a qt size BALL IDEAL jar with a glass lid and wire clasp. On the neck of the jar are the words "wire side". Does anyone know how old this jar is? Thanks!

According to my Standard Reference, this style jar was made from 1933 all the way to 1962, when Ball discontinued the "Ideal" line. If it has "Made in U.S.A." embossed along the heel, it was made after 1950. Hope that helps - Tammy

Thanks, Tammy! The only other words on my jar--besides the Ball Ideal--are the words "wire side" on its neck. Mine must be pre-50's then. Is there any value to it?
