Hi Alex,

I am from NH and dive for my bottles and several intact ones have come from our coastal waters and Estuaries, the shards are found here while diving too although they are not a very common discovery. There are members of this forum like "coldwaterdiver" who you could send a pm too and he is friends with the divers who have made these recoveries.

Best of luck with the research,

Matt

Hello Alex,
I live in a Midwestern town in the US so there is very little chance to find artifacts such as these, however being the city I live in has a strong Germanic heritage I guess there is a possibility some could have survived the journey. I have for a number of years watched for decent examples of Bellarmines and pieces from Raeren & Siegberg but have yet to purchase as for want of knowledge of value.I've contemplated purchasing your book but there are two volumes,is it important to have both?

Regards,
Tim

Hello Alex,
I'm trying find some information on this stoneware jug but have been unsuccessful identifying the crest on the medallion. It appears to be a bird perched on a shield that has two chevrons on it.This jug has be retrofitted with hall marked silver closure and base from an English company circa 1875.Any information such history or value would be appreciated.

Regards,
Tim
