Hi ~ I can't find any information on this bottle which stands 5 2/16" high and is embossed on front "Berlin Series" with an embossed double circle in between. The back has a partial label which looks like it might have been a Peppermint Extract. Any help will be appreciated! [:)]

Thanks for the info GutherHess. What is the Baldwin reference
mean? Is that an antique bottle author and the numbers that are enumerated, page numbers? Is this bottle from the mid 1800's? I forgot to mention it has a nice open pontil. Thanks again![:)]

Baldwin was author of a book PATENT AND PROPRIETARY MEDICINE BOTTLES. no longer in print. Entry numbers.
Flared lip medicines are typically pretty early, possibly 1840-1850 period for that one but I'd have to do more research be sure.
The lip damage is common for flared lips and hurts the value a lot.

That style lip finish was used on med and druggists bottles between 1800 and 1870 but dates much earlier. It was still listed in the Whitehall Tatum, & Co catalog in 1902.
