The Wheel House on Long Beach Island was the best for Seafood. Lobster Feast Senior was the thing to get, 2 lobsters, mussels and clams in a white wine & butter sauce with fries. In the words of the Immortal Snoop Dog, it was the SHIZ-NIT !!!

Best meal I ever had was 12 years ago at NOBU in NYC, I had to get Diane Sawyer to make a reservation for me and 9 friends, Yes THAT Diane Sawyer, because only Big Wigs and The Famous Folks were able to get in back then. It had no competition when it came to Sushi back then, and it still is a tough eat if you're not Famous or hooked up like I was lucky enough to be...[:D]

Do you know if The Wheelhouse is still open, Jim? My mom says it's near Joe Pop's, which is on the street where we go to the beach. I'd certainly want to go, I love fish.

Hey Miz Texas,

I'll give you the Brisket Crown, but Arthur Bryant knew a thing or two about brisket as well...

There's lotza folks in the Carolinas and elsewhere that haven't weighed in on the best ribs issue, maybe we ought'a wait a little to hear from them.

Ain't no way Texas deserves rib accolades...

Yummy-looking Star Fruit, Rocky! Here's another great place to eat. It's right across the street from the beach, on New Hampshire's short seacoast. This is the place where I found a piece of spongeware laying on the ground. The place is full of bottles. When I was first getting into bottles, I asked the waitress where their collection came from, but she didn't know. This is not their original location, but I think they made a good choice moving to the beach.

Nothing better than eating some lobster and steamers and enjoying the salty ocean air.
