I don't believe her dating method was very good because that ain't no 1840 to 1870 bottle. Maybe 1870 to 1890 but the lable looks good to me.

its an interesting one. This seller has sold quite a few varied narcotic labeled bottles. Thanks for the comments.
As for the age of the bottle, I would guess somewhere between 1900 and WWI.

I think the bottle is old, but I'm going to say that is not the original label. People are very crafty out there..... I've seen many a label made and they have even fooled me. [] a little tea stains paper just he right paper very nicely along with a few other tricks I know.... Has anyone asked about the label? I must go back now that things have calmed down here and ask a few questions if it isn't too late....
