Hi all any ideas on the value of this crock, its about 10 3/4" tall and 5 3/4 round at the base, its debosed i can hardly make out what looks like wm than fades out s at the end, the next line starts with looks like FA and is several letters long but too hard to read and the last line CIN. It also has a no.1 debossed on it, also would like to know what it was used for.tryed to get a close up of the debosing but its too weak

Thanks.

As far as crocks go that's not a large one, can you get a clear close up of the stamp?

Wish I could help you , biggest crock I ever saw was a fifty gallon open crock at an auction . Thing only brought fifteen dollars as no one including me wanted to try and lift it to load it up . Hard to say how many pounds that thing weighed . Looking back , I wish I would have bid on it .

Yea its not that big, i was thinking in terms of digging these and most of the larger ones are always broken and in parts and pieces, anyway i agree the Cin. likely stands for Cinncinati, too bad we can't email digger Odell anymore on the Cinnncinati stuff.
