w00t! my first post in almost a year! Well, ill get to the point. I bought this coca cola bottle at a antique market about 2 years ago, it's been ever since. This bottle fasnated me because it was Blown in mold! and also had notable glass manufacturer on it. It's from Tampa, FL, and has the earliest pat date on it. I saw on a earlier post this is worth $500, but I know that's not true. If anybody can help, I would appreciate it. Oh, also the glass manufactorer is L. G. W. - 19

Nice, I only had one 1915. It was that ice blue. It's gone now and I have no idea what town or if it was BIM. I never got into cokes but I wish I could check it now. I always figured Coke hobbles were the first to be only ABM.

Hey SS Coke,

Welcome back. I'm not sure I'm following you on all the fine points of this bottle. To what "pat date" are you referring? I wouldn't think that Laurens would be blowin em by hand. I say donate some of whatever you're smokin to the forums, so we might all "see" it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they start bottling Coca-Cola in Tampa in 1903? Wouldn't the oldest ones look more like this?

From.

I'm certainly not up on Coca-Cola arcania, but could'ya refer us to where you saw the post concerning the $500.00 price tag?

Please take no offense from my comments, but all I'm seeing is a machine made hobble skirt, whose value escapes me. Call me sceptical, but I'd be flabbergasted should it approach $500.00...

Hey SS Coke,

Well shut my mouth and call me Shirley...

"Laurens Glass Works was organized in 1910, with a capital subscription of $50,000, by a group of local businessmen who knew absolutely nothing of the manufacture of glass but were willing to give of their time and risk their money in the growth of an industry that would give much needed employment to their sons and the younger generations of the community. Most of the first equipment came from the old Carolina Glass Company of Columbia, South carolina, which had been forced into bankruptcy. After the 1913 reorganization, bottles were made by the hand blown method, and experienced glass blowers were imported from Ohio and Pennsylvania." From.

Sorry to impugn your explanation. Boy is my face red...
