black glass

please help in identifying this bottle. I can read AMSTERDAM, but the other 10 letter word embossed in the recessed base I can not. 10 3/4 inch tall and 3 7/8 diameter heavy dark olive green that looks shiney black unless held to a light source.

It could be Erven L. Bols but we would need a pic, welcome to the forum...

Again, thank you for all your help. Will re-take pictures of the base by tomorrow. Great site and glad I joined. I dug this bottle 47 years ago when I was 16. The early Arkansas river, it seems, was the site of the towns taverns and dump sites. Only recenty opened my stored collection.

Did you try to do a rubbing of the letters to see if you could decipher them?
