I thought I share a photo of a very early Spanish blown and
cut pitcher that I just added to my collection. I really enjoy
all types of early glass. The styles and forms of European and Mediterranean glass enables you to see how our early glass industry
became influenced.

Nice find. What's the age, and what tells you it's Spanish?

Hi Brian,
For the past several years I have turned my attention
to wards early European and Mediterranean glass. I have
also accumulated a nice selection of reference books on
glass from these regions. I have become acquainted
with several serious collectors of this type. Though comparisons
of glass and regions of manufacture, leads me and a few others
because of form, style of engraving and type of glass to be
late 17 century/early 18 century from the La Granja area of Spain.
