I used to find quite a few of them back in the 70s Matt, but I can not remember the last time I even saw one of the round ones, except for on the net. I still see the newer blue ones quite often though.

I believe the bottle is either late 1890s or early 1900s, whether that is correct or not, I do not know, that is my opinion though.

I don't know when the earliest ones were made, but Clevenger Bros. Glass Works were known to have made several types & colors for many years.[/align]I saw some advertised in an early magazine once and they were being offered as, "flower vases"...to be filled with water and a bud or plant (like ivy), placed in them, and hung on a wall .[/align] This is why so many are seen with obvious water stain inside.[/align]

odd a semihollow round bass...lol best of luck with it..would make a great suncatcher probably look cool in a fish tank as well....but in general a cool bottle ...peace
