Bottle Dig 3-17-07!!

Found alot of stuff. Nothing special! Really glad to just be digging! Sorry about the pics! I will clean them today and take more pics.

The best find of the day was 2 local amber meds in different sizes. They were within 2" of each other. The initial cleaning of these bottles did not do much good. Any suggestions on cleaning the white film on the bottles?

I also dug 2 local sodas. One was cracked really bad. Here is the good one!

Here is some snuff bottles! Does anybody know about these? They were all right together.

That's one thing I never come across where I live and thats snuff bottles, I guess the people around here back then where to drunk to use the stuff hahah!

You need a bottle tumbler to permanently clean those bottles. However, as long as you keep those bottles slicked up with baby oil..they MAY appear clean.

keep them greased up with baby oil

as dirty as it sounds i use a really greasy foot lotion and it works really well i thought about using baby oil but i thought it might be too runny and just eventually run off so i used lotion instead the only drawback that i have noticed is that dust really sticks to them so dusting is a pain
