For anyone who may be interested in a bottle digging site near Vancouver, B.C.
As a teenager I used to go digging in the bushes below River Road in Surrey. The location I used to frequent was between
Miller Road and slightly south in the direction towards Delta, in particular between Miller Road and the first bus stop going
south.
Years back, people used to throw their garbage down there, 'nuff said. I used to find a variety of bottles there.
Unfortunately, this area may soon be bulldozed and a road put in. So now's the time.
I'm going to try and get back there myself soon.
There is also a good location by the river for finding arrowheads and beads etc., but it now has a big "Private Property" sign
in front of it. I'm going to look into that again.
I'm now living overseas but will be back that way before too long for a visit and a dig.
