Cool stamps...it would be interesting to look him up...was he serving in the Veterinary Corps?
The black draught is probably a veterinary medicine...I don't know if they gave human black draught. I would love to see a picture of that one..

Bost: I haven't had any luck finding him, but I think you're right on the Veterinary Corps. Below is his USAF stamp, stationed in OK. I didn't notice the VC until your suggestion, thanks! I wonder if his family is still around? I'm guessing these are pre-1940s.... think thats a fair assessment?

As far as the date for this stamp it has to be between 1947 and 1972. The USAF was formed in 1947. Before that it was the US Army Air Corps. The Veterinary Corps became all Army in 1972.
