I'm pretty new to the forum and I enjoy it very much. I like posting questions and pictures. One thing I really want to do is give the best description possible when I do post information.

Is there a thread on this forum which has a color list / photos of all the different colors of glass we see?

If not, do one of you old Pros mine making it up?

It would be greatly appreciated!!

Terrific sight. That is probably the best one could do on the subject. However, please keep in mind that through a computer the true color may not be represented on your monitor. In other words, what you see may not be exactly what it looks like in person. Also, light source has a definite effect on color. Natural sunlight will differ from incandescent light which will differ from flourescent which will differ from ??????

This is not meant to negate the value of the site. It is just meant to temper the information. I have not yet read the information on the site, they may have already covered this point.

It shows you how to use the standard color reference films and a light table to judge color of glass.
When color is important this is a good way to do it.
