Here's my current layout (a bit of a mess at the moment).

It managed to survive me getting married, getting moved out of my parents basement, a temporary resurrection in a barn (running off an inverter) and then being carted up to a third floor attic. Some of the track, the switches and transformers are far older than the trains, but youngsters compared to my bottles.

i got a bunch of them too. all ho scale.when my son was younger we played with them all the time.i have a 4x10 piece of sheetrock on saw horses holding it up. went down in the basement the other day and could not get anyone of them to run. we got about 30 engines and over 100 different cars to play with. i have started a new hobby now. going to the train crossing in town and taking pictures of the csx trains when they come through, i have 93 engines so far.and hear different ones come through at night on my scanner. got a picture of an old l&n coal car the other day. later greg

I love trains, also, both the real ones and the toys. A number of years ago I started collecting American Flyer trains and accessories trying to replicate what we had as kids. I haven't done much with it since I moved out to the middle of nowhere, Nevada. Someday I'm going to build a huge HO layout in the spare bedroom. ~Mike

I've thought about trying to put together an electric train set, I had one as a kid and liked it; however, I want a set that consists of the trains I remember seeing most as a child which were the Norfolk and western coal trains. The problem is whenever I do find them they are expensive, so needless to say I haven't gotten into trains yet.
