The Brant's Indian Pulmonary is 7" tall. Is this 1850's? Just checking as I have seen it posted somewhere online, and I just wanted to make sure. Any idea of going price? Warner's Safe Kidney is a more common one, but I know there are different kinds. I don't know if this is just a regular one? If there is anything different? And with it's condition, the price? It has an effervescent color to some of it. Also, the age? Thank you so much! You guys have been great!!! Oh, I have looked on Worthpoint, and the Brant's has gone from around 60 up to 250.00. Goodness, how should I know where mine falls?

Yes the Brant's bottle is 1850's, and it's a very good find! Unfortunately I don't know much about that era of bottles but hopefully someone else here can give you more information on it. It should absolutely have some serious value.

The Warner's looks like the regular variety, and value depends on region it seems. Around here something like that would go for $20CDN but they aren't common here, in areas where they're more common it may go for less. The staining unfortunately takes the value down.

Thank you!! I thought the one may have some value, not sure how much though!! I am not sure if the Warner's is common in my area or not?.. I figured the discoloring would lower the value! Thank you for your input!!

Staining tends to lower the value, but the embossed image pleases the eye, so people collect them as long as they're intact. I painted several colours the safe on mine.

The same bottle did not sell at $150 with free shipping, so I assume it is fairly common as far as embossed pontil bottles go. As an embossed American pontil, I'd expect it to have a value of at least $80, but under $150.
Estimated age of 1840s due to type of pontil.
I'd put $110 on it and see if haggling with a buyer could net you 100.

Another idea is, the next bottle-show near you, rent a table and set up shop.

Any Pontil bottle is a good bottle. Maybe not so much on a slick though but at least you know you got a good old age with those 1840's to maybe early 1860's. Do you have any more pontils like that? LEON.

Thanks, Leon! Yes, I do!! Some are unmarked though, no embossing. Are they still worth something if they are not marked?

That's whats known as a slick. I throw all or most of my slicks I dig back in the privy hole. unless it's pontiled, Then I'd make a exception. A pontiled slick maybe worth $1.00 to $5.00 in my opinion, unless it's a unusual shape or size or color. LEON.
