Hello Everyone:
When scuba diving you come by some wierd things. While diving near an old yacht club I pulled this mooring clete out of the mud. It is in the shape of a hand 18ins long by 5 ins high and solid brass. anyone want to guess on an age?

Dear Bob

I can vividly remember when this cleat came out of the North West Arm. You and I were both hoping to find a nice crock bottle but instead you came out with this great and unique find. In my opinion it is most likely Victorian and worth a good pile of $$$$. In its days it would have a been a special ordered item for the wealthy.
