Just got this on Sat. at a yard sale. Dug at the Mauch Chunk Sewer Plant Project a few years back. One of the workers found it and stood it up on a large manhole. The guy I know rides by on his way to breakfast at the diner and saw it sitting on a manhole cover. Tells the Mrs. thats an old bottle sitting on top of there. We'll have to check on the way back. Sure enough everyone put there 4 hours in that Sat morning and left, leaving this little soldier behind to be claimed by a local.

Nice blob!!! That slug plate is gorgeous!! It's so strange to think it would have just been left setting there.. a reminder that not all people care about old bottles I guess..

I thought the slugplate was pretty cool too. We have local tallboys with the same and I just got one the other day. You always hope you find a good one but usually they are common and only desired by locals. You can't get 5 bucks from someone for bottles around us here and we die for them.
