I picked this one up because it is crude and was inexpensive. A search on this forum did not turn up anything. Is there any info available? The only other markings is the standard THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD on the back. George

Weiss is white in German and I'd guess the bottle is from the Buffalo Brewing Co about 1890-1905. Great stopper, I'd have bought it too if the price was right.

I did manage to find a listing for the company. It seems that the firm was not successful as they were only in operation in 1891.

seen a zillion amber weiss beers.This ones a first for me.Gotta be a scarce one-Very cool,and i love the simplicity of the embossing.
