My grandfather gave me something years ago he called a calf Feeder bottle. It is light blueish in color. It is flat on the bottom, rounded on the sides and top. Almost teardrop shape. One end has a neck and the opening coming out, rounded and up. Anyone ever [:(]hear of such a thing, or know the value!!![]

Dee, are you sure it's not an infant feeder for babies that was used as a feeder for calves? It sounds like one. Does it have any embossing (letters) anywhere?

Hello Dee, yes there is such a bottle, you see them quite often at our country fairs in the 4-H clubs. In fact, back in 1950s at a place called Catskill Game Farm in NY State, they used to 'rent' them to vistors so they could feed the animals. Not sure of value, you might try a search in animal husbandry or the like.

RE: Calf Feeder Bottle(The Chicago Feeder)

The bottle is small, about the size of the palm of my hand. maybe a little bigger

Has several bubbles in the glass. On the front it says The Chicago Feeder

The seam does not go all the way to the top
