Calling all insect powders!HELP!

Hi everyone at the antique bottle forum!Please keep me in mind for interesting Lyons powders and other bug bottles of similar shape that you may come accross! As many of you know I'm the BUGGIEST for these little bottles-thay are all I COLLECT!!!! So please drop me a line,let me know what you have, always looking for these insect powder bottles for a future bottle article and possibly even a book on them in the future! Hi Kevin , I hope all is well . I heard a large size Lyon's Powder O.P. with label showed up at Baltimore Show 2013 . I didn't see it myself , but heard it went relatively cheap . Take Care ! Ed

Could you give us a little better idea / picture? of what you are looking for? Many of us know what the LYONS look like but are you looking for unembossed look alikes? What, other than embossing should we be looking for?

Hi Ed,Wow, Thats a great bottle! If you ever see anything like that and I'm not around,please pick it up for me and I will make it worth your while! As far as I know there's only about half a dozen of the large Lyons known so their always good! I'm lookinghard for PONTILED citron & yellows,pine greens and very very light gasoline puce! Epackage to the rescue again,I certinly owe you one my friend!!! Now Jim can get a better idea of what I'm looking for but especially oversize Lyons and other similar bottles, as well as PONTILED LYONS POWDERS in yellow,citron,sea and pine green,aqua and very very light puce! Pontiled Costars powder in oversize and colors ,actually I'd like to hear and at the very least get a report of any insect powders you run accross! As an example Costars ,who was a direct competitor of Lyons powder in NYC produced 7,YES 7 & different sizes of bottles by his own admission so you can see how many more unknown bottles there might be out there. Lyons or rather Barnes and Park had 3 different size bottles made so somewhere out there a Colored Lyons Powder the size of a squatty soda is floating around!! Hello deep digger.so that's the large Lyons with the label that came from the baltimore show.If you are interested in selling it I'm your man! Even if not,I could use a little info on the bottle as your label is different from the others I've seen.I would love the name of the agent and address if any and cost of the bottle(on the label). Also the color of the bottle,looks reddish puce to me but these things are always hard and to an extent ,in the eye of the beholder!
