not that uncommon to come across small snakes here where searching for bottles , not 100 % sure what type of snake this one was , might be an eastern water snake . it was in a grassly / leave area near some wetlands near a road
I took a picture cause I though it was neat , very friendly barely even moved or did anything when I was nearby
yet to ever see the massassuga rattler snake which is native to my area although more common along Georgian bay , mostly see garter snakes which are common here
