A fine piece of glass. Not sure if Heckler's is the best venue. I'd put it into mapleleafauctions.com since that house is tapped into the best audience for this treasure.

Maple Leaf Auctions would be the best venue to sell... or I'll trade you for the Alberta Oil Sands...[:D]

i was just looking at the maple leaf auctions site and its most recent sales.....it appears as if the soda bottles bring little or nothing. in the last auction in particular id say 40% or more didnt have a single bid and were never sold, while the others brought in the $250 range. id videotape myself smashing it on a rock and put it on youtube before id get rid of it for $250.
just my opinion

Yes mtfdfire22, but you have to understand a number of factors. Bottles have gone down in value across the board.

A lot of the stuff on that site sells low because it is not hard, or impossible to find stuff. The super rare ginger beers still bring good money, and for a good reason. The top 1% of stuff still brings big money, because it is the rarest, most desirable pieces. This torpedo falls into that category. Trust me, it wont go for $250 dollars. Look at the last auction, look at what the Emack Bros. ginger beer brought.

The torpedo might not bring THAT much, but I classify it in that same realm, as a very desirable bottle, that the "big boys" will pay dearly for.
