Cool finds and great "last gasp" dump find passthebottle,....I'll bet you find alot of goodies next thaw!...I've got one of those "Red Dragon seltzer" bottles,...don't know too much bout them except that I figured they were a competitor to Bromo seltzer...also I've seen 7 up green bromo shaped versions of the red dragon bottle, that's what supported my belief they were a different "bromo". Thanks for sharing your pictures and finds.
Looks like your site has some serious potential!! Does it seem like it goes deep? I would advise not revealing your location to anyone and getting back there to dig it out asap!!
"This is a scarce c1885 celluloid RED DRAGON SELTZER pinback." From.
There's a photo of a green Red Dragon from New York, and a brief discussion of same, over here. There's another New York model, in clear glass, for sale @thisplace.
Is it just me, or does it look kinda Sharpe & Dohmey?
Cemetery? How many people used their loved ones' resting place as a dump??? I know of a few 1880's cemeteries, But Digging there somehow seemes just plain FK'n wrong to me.
