Hey guys, as I'm walking ditches around the house looking for bottles I have found quite a few ceramic pieces that look like miniature saucers but I believe them to be maybe a ceramic cap of some kind. I have actually broken several and left several alone. Any information on these? Should I pick these up? I will try to post a picture next time I see one.

I'm pretty sure you are talking about porcelain mason jar lid inserts.. they usually outlive the zinc lid.. and no, you should not pick them up..[;)]
