Colgate & Co Purfumers Bottle

I dug this bottle today and I was wondering if anyone could possibly give me some info on it, it is about 2 3/4 inches tall and is embossed COLGATE & Co. PERFUMERS NEW YORK it has a very small Y on the base also the neck looks like it may have been ground inside for a stopper or something. Any info would be appreciated thanks. The bottles had a stoppers with C&Co on them usually. They had paper labels that identified the perfumes. There are a number of different sizes of these bottles.
