My oldest son picked won this in a estate auction lot with a vase he wanted that he was bidding on. The lot cost him $60, he was happy with his vase and when he saw this and figured I'd enjoy it. My best guess is an insurance agent give away, don't know where it hailed from but the story on the card is cool.

Cool item, my buddy is a Farrier and I work with him when things are slow. It's an amazing profession....jim

actually your supposed to hang them right side up, because a witch can not pass under the horse shoe...(an old eastern custom), unless your Irish, then up side down to hold your luck!
