Hi Mike, nice story. I have one similar to the one on the left in picture 5(light as a feather and perfect). I think in some states its legal to puff now. [:D] I couldn't help myself. lol

Steve ~ Your puff has great wonkyfactor. Shoulders broad & narrow. Like the soda, too.

that's a cutie there Mike, I'm always amazed that they survive also, I've found them paper thin and whole next to smashed soda's that were made out of granite comparably!

Its fun finding the tiny bottles, alot of times i've seen them in the shovel by accident and catch them before they fly to the dirt, metal, and broken glass piles

MrSchulz I have friends that are going back & redigging old outhouse sites that they dug many years ago...They're screening for coins & smalls. I find that "the other items" are just as interesting as bottles....ok...somtimes.

MrSchulz Here's a quick couple of smalls that were found on the tip of a shovel.....The Keystone cop is 2" tall & the frozen charlotte 1 1/4 " tall... It pays to have a good eye. [:)]

It is amazing that they ever survive.. found this little 2" x 3/4" pressed in the bottom 20 feet down in a privy pit. Did it float around for year being bombarded by beers whiskeys sodas etc.. How did it manage to avoid the bricks etc. when the hole was filled .. let alone how did it ever make it from the house used as a brothel for many years to get to the privy without being smashed.. better yet it escaped the digging tools wrath that sometimes destroys small thin bottle unknowingly.. but now it lives on for many more years safe and sound with many others of it's kind in a lighted well kept little cabinet.. For all those that have intrest to admire.. it's a shinning little star standing proud among the soilders of the ground..
