Here are a cpl medical bottles I have dug up. I am getting better at cleaning them up I think. What works best for the lime scale, soaking in vinegar?? Anyhow The aqua blue is a Lydia E. Pinkhhams Medicine, the other reads Koenig Med. Co. Reads Chicago on the backside. No markings on the bottom of the Koenig, Lydia bottle has a triangle with at W over a T. I am including a picture of a glass stopper I found also. I found this in the vicinity of the Pinkhams bottle. I was just wondering if you bottle ppl might think they go together. The stopper fits well on the bottle, but not snug. I would assume they were more decorative than functional anyhow. I would think a tight seal with a glass stopper would be hard to acheive. I am sitting here debating on the I before E thing. I thought the stopper was attractive with its thousands of little bubbles. I am going to walk the creek outside town possibly tomorrow. I will let you know if anything turns up, have a good one all.

David, nice glass. Most glass stoppers like the one you have had cork around the inner portion to make the seal. Other glass stoppers that were used had the stopper ground to fit the opening of the bottle. The opening would be ground too but the stopper was ground to that particular opening. I hope this makes sense.

Aloha, Rocky
