Yeah Phila....a ton of ash at this one...but strangely..the bottles seem to just hang right in the ash layer. It surprises me even more that they come out looking pretty decent? At my other dumps...if you dig a bottle in that ash layer it is usually 'sick'.

ya cant be too careful. its very easy to miss them or damage them in the ash.

Hey DF, It must have been a dump for poorer people with all that nondamaging poop ash.LoL.

The dryer the ash layer the cleaner the glass. Usually if it is under a thick clay cap.
