Just thought that i would post some pics of some of the bottles that we found last weekend. The stoneware jug is embossed w h johns co. Boston 1895 all in blue letters. What a find that was. The others are a amber 3 sided poison, 2 milk bottles one from falmouth and one from yarmouth maine. A teapot made of red clay. The two sodas are from portland maine. the green one is embossed casco co. and has a embossed indian on it. The other say odoirones and is shaped like a bowling pin. Cant wait to get back to this dump. Will post more pics next time i dig there.

very nice juggie paul saw cliff the other day in my stomping grounds not very much happing down there it was good when they dumped all that stuff but after pounding it good. it`s harder and harder to find stuff down there .... they just plowed all the piles yesterday.... oh well just wondering if you`ve hit any construction sites up in bath or lewiston always a bonus if you can get in those sites ... most the time they dont care... we dug in manchester right next to this construction site and made out alright they are still pounding that area and i`ll probably hit it next tues.. the cops even saw them diggin and never said a word except have fun. there`s a post in this thread some where with the finds .... we should get together and tear it up sometime there are endless spots to be had .... cheers on the finds and the juggie is killa

That jug is great bottles141 they usually have no writing on them or are busted in half when I dig them[:(] That small teapot is cool too, it is a wonder how it survived without the handle or spout not being broken off. It looks like you are going to have a great time digging at that dump. Pettydigger

Nice jug Paul. I've only seen the W.H Jones whiskey bottles.

Things are thawing out nice around here, all we need now are some leaves for cover. Not looking forward to the ticks and black flies though.
