hmmm, I recall copper or brassy hollow balls myself...never seen a glass one.
were they in use in the US I wonder...

Here's a different one from the same seller. Now this guy travels there and gets these and brings 'em home to put on eBay. Funny how people think we are crazy for some of the stuff we bring home (digging).

Whiskey- I was looking for collectible parts to fix one of my transparent toilets.[] I didn't bid on this one 'cause I'm looking for a float in a puce or blue. []
