I have this bottle that is embossed on the front: "Prepared By Dr Peter Fahrney & Sons Co. Chicago, Ill. U. S. A.". On the back, it says: "Forni's Alpenkrauter Blutbeleber" I think. I know this bottle is fairly common in the clear color, but I've never seen one like the one I have, which is an amethyst/purple color. Has anyone seen one with this color? Anyone know a value? Thanks.

It's kinda hard to see the back embossing, but I'm pretty sure it says Forni's Alpenkrauter Blutbeleber.

It was made clear. Exposure to the sun/UV rays tinted it amethyst. It means the glass was bleached clear with manganese and likely made before WWI. Doesn't really affect the value much, if any.
