Question:
Are bottles cheaper in the Carib? I was thinking about a trip and was wondering if I should bring bottle money also? Thanks

Hey Bermuda,

I've always wanted to ask a bottle diver about how you select a spot to dive in?
It is at the base of piers on the coastline. Shed a little light on this interesting version of discovering bottles without giving away your secrets.

Thanks for the replies all[8D]Hi Madpaddla,I am over 1'000 miles north of the Caribbean and 650 miles East of North Carolina,not sure what they go for down south.Here they go for good money if you can find them.There are some great collections here which most people hold onto.If you ever visit Bermuda let us know.

Hi Doug, a good place to bottle dive is around old houses,industrial buildings and bars etc located near the waterfront or coastline.Also near coastal forts and around wrecks,you never know what the next storm may uncover.Some of my best finds have been in 10-30 feet of water[8D]
