they have an antique show here ever august and I rarely find any interesting bottles at it but this year I found one worth taking home
at first I assumed it was a plain bottle with no way of identify where it was from but was a marking on base for " elder " which I immediately assumed was from Kingston Ontario as there was an elder bottler there
anyways I asked the seller about it and they said it had been found at there cottage north of Belleville Ontario which is not far from Kingston and they might of had it for 30 years or so
is some listings in my bottle book for elder , JF Elder 1927-29 , elder aerated water works 1927 -1957 , which gives me an idea when it might be from . only other markings are contents 6 1/2 fl oz and a possible consumer glass triangle on bottom , its too bad they didn't do Elder Kingston on the side like the other bottlers that used this bottle design did , that would of looked way more appealing
