Hey all:

Sat dig was unreal. Covered in mud cause we were in the ash layer. My cousin Eli and girlfriend Sara dug anyway. Two inches of rain makes things tough. And it was there first dig. What soldiers they were. We pulled 20 bottles ...not alot for 6 hours. WOOF. Eli found the most he got a pipe, stopper, shards of some nice stuff.

Pouring today so I didnt take the camera. Found my first nice hole. But after the frustration with Sat dig I grabbed the shovel and said I'm diggin today. No more buckets and hand stuff. Its time to eliminate dirt. 2 feet down THEN I hit bricks. Not in layers but like a dump. Must be hundreds. Pulled about 90 today. Tuttle and Beaver embossed on a few. They are everywhere in that layer. Here are the bottles I took home. Nothing special but can't wait for us three to hit that dirt again. Madpaddla

What did they make? Salad dressing lol Yeah Dave, the site is down. Trying to find one that will allow video, memory, etc. Waters are alittle rough here with the rain but can't wait to get to some site with the kayak. Thanks all. Madpaddla

Hey Ben, French Gloss was a cosmetic. Never seen a wine bottle with a blob. Gotta be a good one and that is a nice 3 peice whiskey too.

Those talking bricks {writing} are very collectable and sell for about $25.

Value? Never seen one.

I livei n hammondsport in the summer time and I have seen quite a few of those wine bottles on ebay. They go usally under 10 bucks or so, however yours is by far the oldest variation i have ever seen. ABM are the only kind i have ever seen
