English Chesnut Flask circa 1790-1820

Even though I mainly collect Baltimore Pontil Medicines, I am starting to like even earlier glass. I got this one from Glass Works last auction. Does have some internal spider cracks, but I love it anyway.

Nice bottle Marc,nothing like an early chestnut flask.The early glass is a good investment and is quite rare comparatively.They are addicting and a true hand blown bottle made from a clay mold.Yours could be of American origin also as New England could be a candidate for manufacture based on the color and the treatment of the neck.Congratulations on your acquisition.
