Zumwalts listing says Ex.Rare, Iron pontil, 10-1/2 x 3-1/2 , $45.00. Seems low to me, but I don't collect foods as a rule, so.............

Matt, don't pay over a quarter for it. Not that rare, I have dug at least a dozen.

I'd love to dig one, this one is a hell of a pretty example... I likes it a lot. Im not buying though. An acquaintance and new found friend who owns an antique store just bought some bottles and needed a little help with them. I had offered him a hand anytime he needed it and of course to call me up when some come in. In return for my effort he told me to pick a few bottles, so im stoked! And I get to see what he has first... There were two Whiskey's I figured were in the 20-40 range and this bottle I told him would look up for him to be sure. Was right about the whiskey's but I thought this one would bring a little more. I'd give 25-50 for it myself but not much more then that. I try to stick to buying certain things and this isnt one of them, unless its the right price, ;) I already picked a Scovils Blood and Liver to keep and am waiting to see the rest... I didnt want to ask for anything to expensive, after all I pretty much went to go bull about bottle for 1/2 hour and get first look! Thats good enough for me...

You got to remeber Zumwalts book is now 32 years old, prices are not accurate anymore;also some bottles that were classified rare or extremely rare more have been dug.
