I found this pontil at a estate sale. I was wondering if anyone here new the age or worth? Also, what marks would help identify the age?

I think I'd find out what it's worth before setting it with the crumbmaster. Looks like a well behaved young'un though. It looks interesting but it should have a good bit of base wear which I'm not seeing in the picture. I'd have to defer to better minds here.
