E.H. Taylor JR & Sons Frankfort, Kentucky "OLD TAYLOR" Whiskey Crock
This crock was found by my Father in a Civil War Era Brick House in West Virginia in the late 60s to 70s, and has been on a shelf ever since.
This Crock has been the only example to be seen by me personally and others I have asked including some appraisers at the Baltimore Maryland Bottle show this year.
I've been unable to find ANY history of another example or even any documentation behind this historic piece of America
The Measurements of this piece are...
9 1/2″ Tall, The Base is 3 1/8" Wide
The Lip is 1 3/8″ Wide, The Diameter is 10 3/4″ +/- Around
The bottle reads... In block lettering in quotations on the front, it says
“OLD TAYLORâ€
