I picked this up recently. All I know is that it is a nice bottle, I have zero experience in colognes. It has D. R. embossed on the heel. Looking for estimates of age, origin, and value. Thanks in advance!

Beautiful Cathedral cologne, Taylor, What's the back side look like? More photos, please. That's one I've not seen. That DR is bugging me...

Thats a fine looking Cologne, and not one I have come across.Several of the Colognes in my collection also have the initials D.R. I am not sure what it stands for. Early on, alot of these came from France, and as their popularity grew, they started producing them here. Its tough to determine exact age on these, cause even alot of the ones made from 1860 on, are still most often found with Pontil Scars. It could be 1830, It could also be 1890. Great find.

The bottle had a lot of glass parison distribution problems based on the picture of the bottom and the heal tap thin spots it shows. RED Matthews
